Benefits of Planning in Life- Motivational Tips for Successful Life


How much output can you bring? What is your competence? All these things are directly related to your PLANNING. How much time do you invest in planning?

Planning can save hell lot of your time. Moreover planning can increase your output 10 to 20 times.

One more quote is there which is famously known as 6 P FOMULA
And that is "Proper Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance"

Planning is not a Rocket Science. Planning is very easy. 

What is the proper way of Planning?
Well Planning has a very simple rule- Think on Paper.
Now what is "Think on Paper?"
It means whatever thoughts are running in your mind, just pen them down.
Every successful person or leader is using a very simple technique of planning and i.e. Listing your work.
New thoughts, new ideas, just write them down on the paper
Use serial number. Suppose you want to plan for tomorrow. So if you want to plan for tomorrow then you have to start today, before going to sleep sit for 15-20 minutes sit down to plan properly. Write everything that you want to do for tomorrow.

Now if you are a student, then you will have to prepare a proper schedule, when to wake up, what to study, how much to study
Wake Up at - 4:30 AM
Study - 5 to 8 AM
Breakfast- 8 AM
Call Raju, Meet Shailaja

When you will prepare a List your goals will become CONCRETE.
There is one more saying- A Goal not written is never a GOAL. So have to have to write your goal. If you are not writing you are not planning properly.

Planning will improve your Efficiency. You will achieve the right thing in the right time.

Now how to prepare the list? Write what ever you want to do tomorrow.
And just cross the work that you have accomplished. And the work which has not been accomplished defer it to the next day. 
Carry forward the work which has not been been done.
You can set the priority of your work also. The work which is important out 2 to 3 stars infront of that work. 
People use their cell phones for planning- Example iPhone, Blackberry
You must have noticed every phone has "TO-DO LIST" And this is very important and successful. Personal advise would be to prepare a Small Diary in which you can write your work Date-Wise.

You write the work, and when its done, you just cut it off. This will give you motivation to do more work. You will receive a Forward Momentum to plan more and work more. And you will get the feeling "Yes I am moving towards my GOALS"

If you have invested 1 minute in planning then you have saved 10 minutes of your Execution.
The Ratio is 1:10
If you have invested 20 minutes in planning then you have saved 200 minutes of execution. You will become more efficient by 200 minutes.

Ignoring planning is not a good plan to follow. We have heard one more quote in our childhood "Failing to PLAN is planning to FAIL"
Now here comes the problem- Sir we have made the problem, but we were not able to execute it and after 2-3 days i dropped the idea of planning.
This is one of the biggest BLUNDER one can commit. If you were not able to execute your work then Planning is not be risked or blamed, never stop writing. Every night before sleeping, make sure you are sitting down and writing your plans. Exercise the same for 60-65 days. And do share the results with me. I am sure this is gonna be fun. And also give due importance to Controlling, if you were not able to wake up as per your plan then why couldn't you wake up write the reason.
